Like most people on this planet, I love listening to music.
My taste in music is very odd. I used to just listen to whatever was on the radio or whatever my parents liked.

Then I started to hate the sound of pop music. The instrumentals just didn't do it for me. I tried hard to get into the current gen of K-pop, but most of that also sounds terrible. I can't describe why, but today's pop just sounds bad to me.

I also don't like to listen to music with depressing lyrics too often. There are a few exceptions to this. The reason why I listen to music is to dance and have a good time, I don't want to feel sad unless I'm already feeling down. Sometimes I even don't want to listen to anything with meaningful lyrics. I know that sounds dumb, but sometimes that stuff annoys me too.

My main genres of music are bubblegum dance, eurodance, and eurobeat. I also like trance, happy hardcore, house, J-rock, visual kei and seiyuu stuff. My favourite band is actually a K-pop band, BIGBANG. Sometimes I will listen to other K-pop groups like 2NE1, Shinee, and sometimes Stray Kids and Treasure. I also like some Vocaloid songs, as long as the voices don't sound too robotic.

I just like anything fast and electronic sounding. I even think that autotune can sound cool sometimes. The reason why I like stuff like eurodance is mainly because of the synthesisers. For some reason, they just make me feel alive. The lyrics are usually fun and uplifting. Usually it just makes me want to get up and dance. Unfortunately, most of my music library is filled with fast music, so when I want to listen to something slow, I can't find anything.

I also absolutely love anime/game character songs, I'll even buy them on iTunes if they're available in my country. Listening to seiyuu (Japanese voice actors) singing is so much fun, even if they're not always the best singers in the world. Maybe I'll make a page dedicated to these songs one day. My favourite seiyuu to listen to are Showtaro Morikubo, Takehito Koyasu, Junichi Suwabe and Daisuke Hirakawa.

The way I listen to music is through YouTube, Spotify, or my iPod Nano. I actually still buy CDs and digital songs to put on my iPod, it's a bit old fashioned but it's the best way. I hate streaming music so much, the only thing it's good for is discovering new songs. I don't mind YouTube because usually someone uploaded the song with a custom image and the comments are interesting to read.
