(There will be minor spoilers for the Ever After High cartoon and books here, the series is old so I'm sure everyone's seen it by now, but if you haven't yet and don't want things ruined for you, it might be better to stay away.)

Cerise Hood was my favourite Ever After High character back when the franchise was new. Nowadays I'm more of an Apple or Briar person, but she still has a special place in my heart. I don't know why I liked Cerise so much, I think I just thought she was so interesting. I thought it was cool that Cerise was secretly the child of the Big Bad Wolf, it was just a cool concept to me at the time.

In the UK, EAH dolls weren't as common as Monster High in toy shops. If they did have them in stock, they usually just had the main four characters. Even the big places like Smyths only had Apple, Raven, Maddie and Briar. And my local Toys R Us didn't even have EAH at all. So if you wanted to get the best selection, you had to go to Argos, which is where I got my Cerise doll. For those of you who aren't from the UK, Argos is basically a shop where you go in, find what you want in a catalogue, then you write the product number down and they give it to you from the back room. This was for some reason very exciting when I was a kid. It probably all works different now though. For some reason that place had a really good selection of dolls, even better than the actual places dedicated to just selling toys. There were other Cerise doll released, but only the signature one I could find in the UK. I believe she got a Legacy Day doll, but it seems to be so rare, and I can't find any pictures of it online.

This is my Cerise doll. She's actually slightly taller than the other girls. I believe the female dolls had three body sizes, there was the smaller one used for Maddie Hatter, the normal one used for majority of them, and then Cerise's taller body. Usually I take the hood off, cause she looks better without it.

This is the art of Cerise that they used on the box. The boxes for the older EAH dolls were so nice, I don't have any left to show you though. Cerise also came with a diary, I know I kept all of my doll diaries, but I moved house twice since so I only know where some of them are. You can read all the diaries on the EAH Wiki if you want.

This is Cerise without the hood. She wears her hood to keep her wolf ears a secret. And Mattel actually put in the effort to put the wolf ears on the doll. (I will show you them down below...) This means that Cerise has a different head mould to the others. Unlike Monster High, EAH uses mostly the same heads for all of the dolls. Cerise's nose is also slightly different, they've given her face a slightly wolfish look. I've always loved her makeup, it's just very natural and not over the top.

Here are the wolf ears, my camera refused to focus on them properly. They aren't really that wolfy, but they are more pointed. I used to pretend that Cerise was Clawdeen Wolf's cousin.

This is the ring she has. I like the rings but they get lost so easily. Cerise is the only EAH doll I own who hasn't lost her ring. One of my doll rings is trapped in the garden of my old house. Maybe someone will find it one day.

Her boots are so gorgeous! I would wear these myself.

Here is the print on the back of the hood.

And here is the picnic basket handbag Cerise comes with. You can't open it up.

This is a bit of a closer view of her face. Her fringe has slight platinum streaks on it, but the rest of her hair doesn't. In the box art and the cartoon, her highlights are a lot brighter. The hair on my doll is a bit thin, that's probably just because I've had her for almost a decade now.
